The Trust at East Lake is an Atlanta Land Trust project offering 8 for-sale attainable townhomes. The development aims to serve as a model for affordable, context-sensitive housing. Deriving inspiration from Savannah rowhouses, larger 2-3 bedroom townhomes face the street with smaller 1-bedroom townhomes behind facing an "alley" of surface parking. These 1-BR townhomes provide an opportunity for first time home buyers and down-sizers to remain in a desirable neighborhood. A cottage court provides a gentle transition to existing neighboring homes.

KUA provided full architecture services after creating the initial concept and leading the project through the necessary entitlements, including a rezoning and variance process.

The next phase is under way bringing 6 more duplexes to the site.
