OUR UNIQUE APPROACH
At Kronberg Urbanists + Architects, we’re more than a design firm—we’re a mission-driven team that combines architecture, urban design, policy insight, and development strategy to help neighborhoods thrive. We began as architects focused on thoughtful buildings, often bringing new life to overlooked existing structures. Over time, we realized that successful projects require more than just good design—they need a broader understanding of zoning, mobility, financing, equity, and long-term viability.
So for the past two decades, we’ve built expertise across these areas. We bring a holistic approach to every project, and we work closely with trusted partners to add value and insight where it’s needed most. Our sweet spot is at the intersection of adaptive reuse, neighborhood redevelopment, urban infill, and housing choice. We’re most effective when we can bring multiple layers of our experience to the table.
We believe neighborhood revitalization is one of the most powerful tools we have to improve the environment, public health, housing affordability, and social equity. And we’ve built the tools and partnerships needed to help make that happen.

We also know that even the best ideas can be blocked by outdated local regulations. That’s why we founded Inc Codes in 2023—to help small and mid-size communities modernize their zoning and development codes so more attainable housing can actually get built.
WHERE DO WE WORK
We’ve brought our approach to projects across the country—from Cape Cod to Memphis to small towns like Brunswick, GA. While our work spans many scales, we specialize in small-to-medium infill development: 1–10 acre sites that accommodate 20–100 units.

OUR PARTNERS
Inc Plans is a collaboration of multiple firms sharing their best predesigned, infill focused, housing plans. These plans are specifically calibrated to maximize housing outcomes in conjunction with incremental zoning reforms provided by Inc Codes.
Incremental Code Consultants provides zoning reforms designed to encourage incremental infill development in small to medium-sized communities.
Inc Dev grows the capacity of regular people to develop hard-working, loveable small buildings in their neighborhoods. We offer aspiring developers training and mentorship to help them take the first steps toward their small-scale real estate development projects.
