When the City of LaGrange, GA and its home county of Troup decided to create a new Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), KUA was brought in to help craft strategy, policy, and code for this monumental undertaking. Our expertise in building and zoning codes, understanding of infrastructure and development, and graphic communication skills allowed us to play an instrumental role in creating a clear, community-driven document. The adopted UDO will remove barriers to inclusive growth and guide positive development, modeled on successful historic patterns, for decades to come.
